Okay, I am actually writing from the office (before contract hours : -) which is not as beautiful as our backyard is now that you have transformed it.

Good Morning Kelly,

Thank you for sending Kevin over to our house last week.
After the brick patio was installed last month,  we had the problem of water flowing onto the concrete section of the main patio when ever we hosed off anything on the patio. Kevin did an excellent job correcting the problem. Both my husband and I were very pleased with the work he did putting in the decka drain and taking out and leveling a mound that was in the center of the brick patio.

We no longer have water standing on the bricks or on the concrete patio either. The patio is more level and easier to walk on. Also, when we hose it off, the water all drains into the grass like it's supposed to do. It's wonderful.

We wish Kevin would have been in charge of the initial installation from the beginning. The job would have been done right the first time without the need for corrections.

Kevin is a real KEEPER! He really knows his stuff! We will gladly recommend your landscape service to our friends.

The backyard transformation was amazing. It is now a warm inviting place to relax and enjoy its many special features. The front yard improvements compliment the area landscaping. My neighbors have been coming bye since the project was completed in October to admire your work. Some people have stopped to take photographs and strangers have asked to see the backyard. Scott's response to assess my irrigation-sprinkler problem on November 16, 2005 was of both a highly efficient and professional quality. To my surprise he was not only able to give me a quote on the cost but that he was totally equipped to make the agreed repairs and improvements immediately.

Scott's excellent skills and knowledge accompanied with his caring work ethic was very reassuring to my trust in his capabilities. I will readily recommend Scott as an employee of Hawkeye Landscaping Inc to my friends and family as a reliable source for their irrigation needs.

Dear Kelly and Julie Burns;

Just a few moments ago, the Hawkeye Landscaping crew finished our backyard and left a big impression on our entire household! This is a big thank you for the beautiful transformation that was done to our backyard in just a mere 7 days. To think that just a week ago all we had to look out at was dirt and now we have a tropical oasis! :)

Our first interaction with Hawkeye was at the Home and Landscape Sow back in September and we were very impressed from day one. Ed made us feel so comfortable in every way and his suggestions are what ultimately made us decide to go with your company. He is so personable, makes one feel so at ease when going over all the suggestions one can consider with landscaping and made us feel uncomfortable in our choices. We are thrilled that ED agreed to come out to Maricopa despite the great distance, and we hope you may find your crews out here sometime soon! Ed was quick with his estimate, gave wonderful suggestions and in less than a week from the time we signed a contract, the crews were at our home! :)

John was our Foreman and Albaro was the lead and these two gentleman, along with the crew were such hard workers, capable in every way and had our best interests in mind. Being able to work through John on every little detail was wonderful and he went way above an beyond the call of duty. At any given time, if I had a question or concern, John was there to guide us along the way. John also made himself available by cell phone for any questions my husband or I had that might not have come up during the day. He was quick with answers, easy to talk to and just a very professional person all across the board. We were in good hands with he and his crew, and for that we are very appreciative. The crew was very hard working; I can attest to that since I am a stay at home mom and was always observing the work being done on my backyard. I would like to comment Albaro for his beautiful masonry work as well as the other gentlemen that designed our paver walkway. When my husband returns from work each day, we sit out on the backyard and can't believe what our backyard has become.

Thanks so much for a job well done and a great crew on top of it all. We are thrilled with the final results and will not hesitate to recommend you to those who may have future landscaping needs.

I would like to thank you and your company for completing an excellent landscaping job on my backyard in Buckeye.

The design you gave me is perfect for this yard. It looks beautiful and is very appealing outside, as well as from inside the house.

I would also like to compliment your foreman, for the superior way he ran the job. He was courteous to me, and all the men worked well for him. Whenever I had a question, he was glad to answer, and he was also helpful in suggesting plant positioning, etc. I found him to be very professional, knowledgeable, prompt and true to his word, which is sometimes rather unusual with many workers.

I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the approach, the efforts and the final result of the front yard landscaping at my home on Sierra Street. Kelly visited and drew up a site plan, we agreed on a price and work begun about a week later.

I think two things impressed me. One, everyone associated with Hawkeye Landscaping is polite, professional and HAPPY to be a part of the Hawkeye team. Second, everyone did what they said they would, when they said they would. These two items are so very rare today.

Dear Kelly and Julie Burns;

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the very satisfactory experience that I had with your company when you did landscaping work for my house in Scottsdale earlier this summer.

The sense of professionalism that I got from all my interactions began with Ed's timely cost estimate for the job and his willingness to give a firm start date and estimated completion date. The manner in which these preliminaries were done showed me that the company I was dealing with was indeed a serious enterprise.

Subsequently, both my wife and I had several long distance phone conversations from here in California with Julie, Marilyn or Tara regarding the scheduling and other details. Their professional demeanor over the phone and attention to detail gave us the impression that their customer orientation is probably driven by the fact that they all really care about people. This particularly stood out, as so very often good communication and efficient follow-up is not common for companies in the construction trades.

Finally, the job was completed in a neat and timely fashion. My stepson stopped by by both during the work and after completion to snap some digital photos to send me. I was extremely pleased with the results I saw.

It was truly a pleasure dealing with all of you, and I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone I meet in your area who has landscaping needs.

I wanted to tell you how impressed I am with your company - and I have not even had any work done yet.

I called your office to ask for an estimate to be done. Julie was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She asked several questions to get an understanding of what I was looking for and made an appointment for later that week.

Terrance showed up on time, which is an important quality. He was well mannered, courteous, knowledgeable and made we feel he knew what he was doing. He set about looking at and measuring my system to prepare an estimate. He had all his tools, something to write on and with, and explained what he was suggesting to have done.

In a long winded way, what I am trying to say... is that I have found or worked or called on very many service people/company's lately and yours is the first that I am completely pleased with.

In a time when quality and commitment are just words in the dictionary, it is a great relief that your company believes in the accountability of honor. Your company performed services on July 14 through 17. These services included front and back yard grass with sprinklers, front and back yard drip system, and a 120-foot retaining wall around the perimeter of my back yard. I am letting you know how pleased my wife and I are of your company's work. The simple budget of a nurse and a teacher may not have been the most elaborate project undertaken by your firm, but nevertheless the attention to detail and high standards were upheld on a small scale. This wonderful policy sets a homeowner's mind at ease. Your willingness to work within and around my needs without a pushy salesman sets your company above the rest. Kevin Burns and his crew were hard working, trustworthy, and respectful of my property. I had no problem leaving the crew on my property when I could not be there. When the minor issue arose regarding the retaining wall, you and Kevin made it right... to my satisfaction! No battling, or matching of wits were exchanged; you simply corrected the oversight and were pleased to do it. I thank you for this attention to detail and restoring the principles of honest business. I will be forwarding a copy of this letter to the Better Business Bureau, and to the Mesa Chamber of Commerce. It has been a pleasure dealing with your company.

Dear Kelly and Kevin:

It has truly been a pleasure doing business with you and your crew. Your company has been professional and very easy to work with. The time and effort your crew has put is evident. Our neighbors started coming by last night to admire your work. We had more visitors last night than we have had since we moved in. All of them stated how impressed they were with the quality and timeliness of the work.

We interviewed four landscaping companies before deciding to go with Hawkeye Landscaping. We chose you company because of Kelly. Paul and I were very impressed with his willingness to do what we wanted. He came across to us as approachable, up front and honest. We were also pleased that Kelly drew up a plan that we were able to see before we put down any earnest money on the project. You were the only company we interviewed that offered to do this.

Kevin was also excellent to work with. He answered questions, made changes and additions quickly and kept us well informed of the projects progress. As I stated above the quality of work was very impressive.

Paul and I have commented that we have not one bad thing to say about the whole experience! We are extremely satisfied with the results and would definitely recommend you and your company to anyone needing landscaping.
